Sex and gender roles are topics that constantly return in the works of Anetta Mona Chisa & Lucia Tkacova, who have worked together since 2000. In the twenty-four-page publication Porn, the two artists simulate sexual acts completely clothed. The two protagonists switch roles as man and woman throughout. The picture series, printed on cheap paper, plays on the functional side of pornographic images, imitating their atmosphere and stereotypes yet consistently depriving the depicted activities of their sexual character.
